Understanding Stewarding At Spectator events

 

This will suit you if you are looking to start a career in spectator control and want to gain the practical skills and knowledge you need to find your first job in the industry.You complete four core units:

  • How to respond to injuries, illnesses and other emergencies in active leisure and learning
  • How stewards control the entry, exit and movement of spectators at events
  • How stewards monitor crowds and respond to potential crowd problems at spectator events
  • How stewards prepare for spectator events.

The Level 2 Award in Understanding Stewarding at Spectator Events enables learners to prepare and progress onto paid or voluntary employment in spectator safety. It links to the Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds (the Green Guide) and covers preparing, controlling and responding to problems and emergencies at spectator events.
